CS2 Console Commands — Full List & Practice Cfg
CS2 console commands let you practise, set up a server and test — from noclip and infinite ammo to bot control and grenade trajectories. Here's the list that matters, plus a ready practice config. Most cheat commands need sv_cheats 1, which only works on your own server.
Turn on the developer console in Settings → Game, then open it with ~. Cheat-style commands need sv_cheats 1, which only works on your own server or a private practice server — not on official matchmaking.
Core cheat commands (need sv_cheats 1)

Will using console commands get me banned in CS2?
On your own or a practice server, no — that's their intended use. On official matchmaking, cheat commands are disabled and trying to force them (or using external tools) risks a VAC ban. Keep them to practice and community servers.
How do I give myself a specific weapon in CS2?
With sv_cheats 1 on, give weapon_<name> spawns it — for example give weapon_ak47, give weapon_awp or give weapon_deagle. impulse 101 instead gives max money, full armor and all grenades at once.

How do I add bots to a specific team in CS2?
bot_add_t adds a bot to the T side and bot_add_ct to the CT side (bot_add picks automatically). bot_stop 1 freezes them, bot_place teleports one to your crosshair, and bot_difficulty 0-3 sets their skill. bot_kick removes them all.
How do I make a private CS2 server for just my friends?
Set an sv_password in your server.cfg (or console) so only people with the password can join, keep sv_lan 0 for an online server, and share the connect IP. Add a GSLT if you also want it listed publicly.
