Valheim Console Commands & Cheats — Full List

Add -console as a Steam launch option (right-click Valheim → Properties → Launch Options), then press F5 in-game to open the console. Type devcommands to turn on cheat commands.

With the console open (F5), type devcommands. That enables cheat commands like god, fly and spawn. It works in single-player and on servers where you have permission.

With devcommands on, use spawn <item> <quantity> <level> — for example spawn Wood 50 or spawn Coins 999. The item name must match the game's internal name.

Add your SteamID64 to adminlist.txt in the save directory, one per line, then restart. That grants the server admin commands like kick, ban and save.

As a server admin, use kick <name/ip/id> or ban <name/ip/id> from the console. unban removes a ban and banned lists current bans. Your SteamID must be in adminlist.txt.

Either the console isn't enabled (add -console and press F5), or you haven't run devcommands, or you're on a server without cheat permission. Enable the console, type devcommands, and make sure you're allowed to cheat there.

With devcommands enabled, type fly to toggle flight (it works alongside god mode). ghost makes enemies ignore you, which pairs well with fly for building or exploring undisturbed.

tod <0-1> sets the time of day — 0.5 is midday, 0 and 1 are midnight — and tod -1 hands control back to the normal cycle. skiptime <seconds> jumps ahead. Both need devcommands.

With devcommands on, goto <x,z> teleports you to coordinates, and pos prints your current coordinates so you can note locations. These are single-player/cheat commands, separate from the server admin commands.
